Playing the lead role of Mirabel in the year 9/10 musical drama production of Encanto was an amazing experience.
Mirabel, much like her animated counterpart in the movie, is a complex character who possesses a vibrant spirit, with unwavering determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of family.
Stepping into Mirabel’s shoes allowed me to delve deep into her world, exploring her hopes, dreams, and struggles. Mirabel’s journey resonated with me on a personal level, as her character embodies resilience, authenticity, and the ability to embrace her unique qualities.
