In the Term 3 holidays, I and a couple of other students from all over WA came together and had a conference about the UN Global Goals and how we could make a difference.
I really enjoyed the conference and I have learnt so much from it and because of the conference and the ideas and knowledge that I have gained from it I was able to begin my project, using the inspiration from Global Goal Number 3- Good Health and Well-being, making tarpaulins out of recycled plastic single-use bottles for the Midwives in Africa for a sanitary place for the mothers to give birth instead of the gritty and muddy dirt ground is what I am hoping to do to improve the goal and to help the mothers through the struggles of childbirth.
I am only beginning my project but I am hoping to make at least 80 tarpaulins by December 2020 as that is my ultimate goal and they can be tough to make, and after I am finished making them I will be sending them off to the Midwives.
If I can have some help making and gathering the materials for the project I would appreciate it! Anyone interested in joining my cause is welcomed and encouraged to contact me by email if they would like!

A very inspiring project. Great Job!
