Science Sleek Geeks!
What is this project?
The Science Sleek Geeks is a competition for any student across Australia and its territories. It is designed to get students to make informative yet fun videos that are based on the concept of change.
My group consisted of Maya, Charlotte, Isabella, and I, we chose to make a video explaining the change in animal adaptation. We were all different characters, as Maya was a kangaroo, Isabella was a platypus, Charlotte was an eagle, and I was the explorer.
My group and I were very organized in filming the video, we even finished early. One thing that we weren’t super organized with was our costumes, as we would plan to film one person’s part but that person might have forgotten their costume, but we worked around it and we instead filmed someone else part.
I had lots of fun throughout the prosses of making this video. We all got to dress up in very creative costumes that we made, but the best part of this process was that I got to do it with my friends and we all had fun. I have learned lots of things such as learning that platypuses have a stinger on their ankle which I found very surprising, and I also learned how to edit videos, in which I will take this skill that I learned and I will use it in the future.
