Christmas market 2022

Last Friday we went out to the common and sold some products that we have spent weeks on.

the people in my group were charlotte Martin and Alicia Best. We made some lovely jewellery (e.g. earrings and chains)

we sold the earing for $2.00 and the chains for $4.00

we payed back the $60 and we got about $28 in profit.

We had to really think about what a good price for each item. For the earing’s we had chosen $2.00 since we didn’t want to make them two expensive that no one would buy them we also had to think that we couldn’t make them too expensive since there not verry good quality and we had a lot. It reminds me of the skeleton island game when we had to sell all the water and we couldn’t make them too expensive since we had a lot of water to get rid of, but we couldn’t make them too expensive, or people wouldn’t to buy them, and we would haven’t made a good profit.
With the chain we sold them at $4.00 since we thought that the consume/buyer would be willing to pay a more since it is the new faction and people think that it’s cool and makes you look tufa, so the demands was high. This strategy we used is called premium pricing I think that this really work considering we payed back the $60 and made about $28 in profit + we sold out of the chains.

I would like to have had my stall near the library since lots of people are over there. If I were to do this again, I would have made more chains then earing’s since there were more popular, I would have sold them for $5.00 as well I would have called out and getting attention to are stall so more people would come and check it out.
If I were to change my product, I would have just made chains as no one really wanted the earing’s as much and they more wanted bracelets and stuff like that. Another thing I would do differently was to make things that appealed to older people expectedly with the earing’s because they could tell they weren’t good quality (when I say not good quality, I mean that they could tell that they were from somewhere like Kmart.)

this was are stall and lost of people were interested because of how decorated it was.

I had a lot of fun and it was a very useful experience.
