About my channel

Tech reviews, tips, and gaming made fun are my main focus.

“what would I want to watch?” this is how I decide on appealing content to make for my niche audience.

I always like watching a short video with plenty of visuals and getting the most out of it as possible. This is why I try and keep my videos to under ten minutes as I try to create videos that appeal to most people in this area including me. “what would I want to watch?” This can help increase attention span which is key for YouTube.

Adapting

  • Doonas, carpet, rugs and cushions for sound absorption
  • For the blue light effect, I used cellophane over a studio light
  • TV background to use to fill the black space behind me
  • Use a lav mic to keep a mic close to the mouth for clear audio

What I Want To Achieve

I have always loved cameras ever since I picked up my first camera in pre-primary, from there I started to enter the West Australian Chevron Photography competition, and getting my name out in the newspaper for consecutive 1st, 2nds and 3rds. Saving up money to take this to the next level purchasing an editing PC to take my photos to the next level. This then led to me making videos for YouTube and joining media at school to produce high-end videos using our school’s resources and recording studios. Mount Pleasant College is a way to turn this into a fun career for me.

Equipment

I Have the luxury of borrowing professional-grade equipment from School such as

  • rode mic
  • lenses
  • cameras
  • lighting
  • tripods
  • adobe creative cloud suite
  • and more

This gives me a head in these areas and gives me prior knowledge.

Who Are My YouTube Idols

American YouTuber MKBHD is one of my YouTube Idols as he started doing YouTube at a similar age to me, Interested in sports and LOVES tech. He started uploading videos in 2009 and hasn’t stopped since as the shows it is a real passion to him. He is mostly self-taught but I am lucky to be able to watch his videos to get some inspiration and learn some techniques and I have the ability to google things that wasn’t as easy back then as Youtube was a pretty new platform. If something doesn’t work I try it again differently again and again until I get it, so I guess you can say I am self-taught too. He refers to himself to be a great problem solver too as he has built rooms for every problem he has had recording videos, with that is to do with audio, certain top-down shot, or my personal favourite the robot room. He has high standards which I also have and I find this is helpful to make high-quality work.

My Favourite Video And Why

Definitely, every last video I make as the next one is better than the last. This relates to my quote… “My goal is to not be better than anyone else, but better than I used to be.”
