In year six, I had a project for defining moments in Australian history, my defining moment was the Mardi Gras. The Mardi Gras is a annual festival to celebrate the LGBTQI + community. For this project, my group and I planned that we must do two things: We had to say what the protest was about and say what human rights were violated (Article 7). These were the two main ideas for our infographic (see down below). We also included other things such as images an data. The process my group went through to make the final product was first, a tic tac toe (for planning/research). Then, after our research, we started to make our infographic on Canva. After we finished our design we cut up all the pages to spread around the board, then added some data collected from surveys, which then turned out to look like this:
But we weren’t done yet. We still had a badge design to make. After brainstorming the colour of the background and what our “Defining Moment In Australia History” truly meant, we started to work on the design, play with different colours, and words. After a lot of draft variant’s of the badge, this is what we came up with:
Our badges sold out very quickly, and overall, my group and I were very proud
