In the computer connected learning rotation run by Mr Middleton and Mr Port, I learned many computer skills such as film making, evaluating sources, Paint3D and much more. Today, I will write about what I learned about Paint3D, and showcase something I have created using Paint3D.
Skills I developed:
Magic Select
Magic select is an extremely useful tool as it helps in cropping out unwanted things from a photo. Also, it allows you to move images in different ways including making them 3D.
3D View
3D view is an incredibly useful tool as it allows you to place images in different places, making it appear “3D”.
Modeling
In paint 3D, there is a 3D gallery which allows you to use models that are 3D to enhance your creation.
Time Machine
In Paint 3D, there is a time machine feature that allows you too show the history of your creation, from when it started, to the final product.
My own creation:
My Paint 3D design was heavily inspired by the movie: “Minions Rise of Gru”. I decided to make a DVD of it. The outer layer are bananas (which represent the minions) and in the middle there are the main characters of the movie.
My troubles:
Throughout the computer connected learning rotation, I a few troubles using paint 3D. I struggled with the 3D elements at first as I had never experienced something like it before and it was a completely new concept to me. I also struggled with the Magic Select tool as it was difficult to properly line up everything.
