The grazing table event, was a very successful event. In this task we were able to create sweet and savory food items. My partner and I made a garlic bread cob loaf and lemon melting moments. Lots of different foods like, cake, muffins, sausage rolls, nachos, cob loafs, and biscuits where all on the huge grazing table.
The event was a huge success, and all the food was practically gone by the end of lunch. The event was in E4 (The food room) and around 50 guests attended, including staff and students. Unfortunately my partner and one of our guests where unable to attend. I think that the event was such a success as there was a diverse selection of foods varying from savory and sweet.
My contribution to the task was the make the cob loaf and help my partner make the melting moments. As my partner was not there on the day, I had to make the cob loaf all by myself, which was a race for time, but I managed to do it.
I overall think that this task was very useful and that we all developed a bunch of new skills. It was very enjoyable and was a great success
