Salvos Redesign

This semester, we partnered with the Salvation Army. Our task was to redesign their storeroom so that space was more effective and more welcoming.  Some challenges that face were the Coronavirus Pandemic and the fact that at the beginning of the task, we were originally two groups but then we came together to form 1 group. We both had different ideas of what we were going to do to space. The pandemic made it so that we couldn’t travel to gateways to look at the space that we had to change. Some capabilities that we had to use were leadership and problem-solving. With leadership, some of us took charge of assigning roles to other people and telling them what they needed to do. Problem solving was required when the floor plan that was given us was not drawn to scale. Futheremore, we didn’t have too much info regarding the height of the room and the budget.
