20boss Reflection

For $20Boss, while my business did not make any of its products, I learned a lot. My initial idea was to build on my Year 7 business of screen printing, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought. At the start, I had a partnership with my friend, Will, which was suitable for screen printing. Having a partner can help with both design and output. So when Will left, my efficiency decreased. I still wanted to continue with the screen printing, but everything was harder than I expected. I needed to develop design skills in ADOBE, so that took a lot of time. Even after weeks of drawings, none of them was good enough. I know this because I kept seeking FEEDBACK. This is a key part of the Design Process. I knew I wanted to draw dogs to print on tea towels, but I still have a lot to learn.

So, to be involved and helpful, I became a helper at the Runway Market. I helped handle EFTPOS transaction with Miss Shaw. This took good organisation and communication skills.

My plan for Term 3 is to continue working on screen-printing. Through the EMPATHY STAGE I have identified my audience of parents who come to Wanju. For my designs, I will seek support from Ms Gittos who is facilitator who can help me turn a photograph or image into a screen-printable design.

I have show a lot of resilience this term because my project was a failure in what I produced but a big success in what I learned.

I started working with will she make screen printed tea towels with nice designs of animals and trees on them. But sadly will the signs to go do pressures plastics in the second term meaning that all of my own doing screen printed tea towels . When I was on my own after will left I started work on getting this design made up I ended up just getting I end up getting started with the with my snowflake designs I used last year for my Christmas market culture did with my two part my partners andy and trent
