[INNOVATE-ED] $20 Boss

14/9/2020

Hello, I am currently doing a program in Innovate[ED], called $20 Boss. We had to choose partners or randomly get into groups which we have to think of, design then create a product that could help a community or a specific audience. I have one partner in this group, his name is Riley Snook and he is the finance and management director. I am the research and design operator. We have made very good improvements with the first prototype and first design by thinking more about our target audience, i have already made the logos that we will use and the designs for the plant vase. We have already pitched this company to the teachers, thus recieving the $40 payment. ($40 because there are two people in this group, $20 per person) We have most things ready for the production to start.

[INNOVATE-ED] Christmas Market

26th of November

The Christmas market was today and my team made a stall, it had lots of decorations and enticing signs on it. The team had 4 people:

Me: Cashier and Accountant

Riley: Walking around herding people to our stall.

Jack: Customer welfare.

Sebastian: Product Handler

Before the market happened, i was racing around trying to get the product (small stockings) made. I even took it home and worked on it throughout the night. It was agreed by the team that i was the hardest worker, and as a prize i got to take the extra products home. I gave it away to the other team members as a gift. We got a $59.75 profit.

[HEALTH] Cyber Bullying Unit – Reflection

The Cyber bullying unit:

The online platforms that i used at the start were: Google, YouTube and Pintrest

The key things that i learned were: That people can change or crop a photo to make it look like the person is doing something bad or is being mean. People can say very hurtful things, that can cause adverse effects that are not ideal. (also stated in my padlet post). People can alter videos and make them look like they are doing something that is dangerous and survive or make people think that they are ‘superhuman’. Also what surprised me is the amount of times that people are mean to other people.
