This term in innovate-ED I worked on making QR codes for the plants around the area, as well as making two videos about aquaponics so people can have a better understanding.
I had the idea of making QR codes so that any future teachers or students or guests at the school can learn more about the plants and processes I do in aquaponics. I started by finding all of the plants that were in the aquaponics area and outside of the food room. Then I went to word and made an individual word document for each plant, including health benefits, background information and recipes including the plant.
After I made all of the word documents and checked them through, I started making QR codes that bring you to the word document. I then put all of these QR codes into canva with a QR code, the name of the plant and a background.
