My Reflection on COVID-19

This year, we had a world wide pandemic. 2020 was a strange year for most people, good or bad. This pandemic definitely affected most of my life and what was happening in the world during quarantine.

Whilst challenging, it also has provided me a chance to reflect on what matters to me.

personally, I learnt that quarantine was quite relaxing. During COVID-19, most things were cancelled or closed due to social distancing rules.

On the last week of school we were told we could wear sport all week but we didn’t know that it was eventually going to shut. As the email came out, I wasn’t at school that day since Mum wanted us to see granny and grandpa before we weren’t aloud to go anywhere. While playing with Cameron and Halle, my dad told me an email came out about the school closing. I was so excited since I had planned out what I was going to do during online school.

It was quite sad since i didn’t see any of my friends or how all sports were cancelled. I also found I was a lot more calm since there was nothing to stress about. It also did show how I have to be in my normal routine since I found it a little hard to concentrate while at home.

In terms of my family we had a lot more time together since there was no where to go we had a lot more family time. We had a lot more bonding time with Rosie as well and playing and going to the beach since it luckily hadn’t closed. Although, spending a lot of time together can cause us to drive each other crazy. in general, it was nice to spend a lot more time together and for dad to not ravel over seas.

In general I enjoyed this experience because it was something I never would of though happen. I’m happy i got to experience the world in a pandemic.
