About Me

My name is Emma Douglas and I am a year 10 student at All Saints’ College. My journey at the College started in Year 7 in 7Z with Mr J. The College has taught me many capabilities through ERIC as well as teamwork, perseverance, and communication throughout the years. My personal values that have helped me in life include compassion, resilience, curiosity and fairness.

I was born in Adelaide and moved to Perth when I was 3 years old. One experience that I am grateful for is when I was 8 years old, my family and I moved to Brazil to live there for a year in 2016. this experience very much changed my perspective on the world as I got to travel to many different countries and got to experience many different cultures. A few memorable places include the 2016 Rio Olympics I went to watch, Christmas in new york and Chile. Hopefully, I will be able to go back one day and visit my family friends and school friends.

One of my favourite things to do in my spare time is going down to the beach with my 2 dogs, Rosie who is an 8-year-old golden retriever and Inka who is a golden retriever cross Australian Shepard 4-month-old puppy. One of the reasons I enjoy going to the beach with my dogs is how relaxing it is and how close I live to the beach. I also have an interest in different sports including gymnastics, netball and athletics. I am currently a training level 8 gymnast and have competed in Singapore for gymnastics before in 2019.

I have met many great people here and cannot wait to explore the many more opportunities All Saints will give me in the future. In the future, I hope to meet many of my goals and explore many job opportunities and find my dream job. Through All Saints, I hope they give me these opportunities to explore my future jobs and careers.
