In the early months of 2021, I had the privilege of being cast in this year’s College Musical of ‘Mamma Mia!’. We started rehearsals in December and worked hard every week for our 4 performances on 21-22 April and 9-10 May (due to the COVID-19 interruption). I played a large role, not only with my acting and singing abilities but in leadership and problem-solving. Whenever there were any problems I along with my fellow performers always found ways to fix anything wrong in the most effective and beneficial way possible. I also feel that I contributed to the work of the play when I was off stage in the way that I was always there to help with costumes and choreography and make sure we put on the best performance we could for the 1,600 people we performed for. In the end, we put on one of the most exciting up-lifting productions this college has ever seen and this was by far one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had.
