What were the biggest things you learned while at the RAC BStreet-smart excursion? | The biggest things I learned at the Bstreet smart excursion was that not wearing a seatbelt can be very fatal and the consequences of what can happen when you are distracted while driving and they showed us through an reenactment of what happens every day |
What one piece of advice would you pass on to young drivers above all else? Why? | Above all else, the one piece of advice I would pass on to young drivers is to always prioritize safety by staying focused, avoiding distractions, and following traffic laws. By maintaining your attention on the road, minimizing distractions, and obeying traffic regulations, you significantly reduce the risk of accidents, protect lives, build responsible driving habits, avoid legal and financial consequences, and contribute to a safer driving culture overall because its important the young drivers know how to be safe wile in the road because its one of the biggest killers in young people in Australia. |
Write down a pledge that you will commit to when you start driving. Why did you pick these things to commit to? How will you stick to these commitments? | I pledge to prioritize safety and responsibility when I start driving. I commit to staying focused, avoiding distractions, and obeying traffic laws at all times. I will maintain awareness of my surroundings, respect the rights of others on the road, and make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of myself, passengers, pedestrians, and fellow drivers. Because they are very important to me and I know people who have died on the road so I want to keep the roads as safe as possible. |
