For terms 3 & 4 during Innovatt[ED] I have been doing chickens. It was a lot of fun as I got to take care of the chickens each week. I also got to teach pre-primary and year 1 students 5 weeks in a row. I got to do some specific things that I will never be able to do again.
During term 3 we worked on the wellbeing of the chickens and how to take care of them, this was very cool because I got to cuddle the chickens a lot and check certain things about the chickens that I will never be able to do again. This was relevant as I had to check if the chickens had good foliage.
While as during term 4 we worked on teaching the junior school about the chickens, this was also very fun as we played around with the little kids and show them what chickens are and what we do on a daily basis such as clean out the poo or feel the chickens or why we clean out the food and water or where the chickens sleep at night.
During term 4 I had a funny experience where a chicken who was wanting attention jumped on my shoulder like a parrot.
In conclusion, I had lots of fun and I appreciate the time I was given for this period.
