On the 11th of September, the Amati Strings and I played at the second College Concert of the year. We played “Rosamude” by Franz Shubert and “Curse of the Rosin Eating Zombies” by Richard Meyer. It was quite interesting to see the audiences reaction because the first song we played, “Rosamunde”, was quite a classical and proper piece, and then we played “Curse of the Rosin Eating Zombies”, which involved a lot of screaming and graphic noises. I think the audience enjoyed both pieces because it was quite an interesting contrast.
