Reflection on COVID-19 and 2020

2020 has been a  very interesting year for me and everyone else I am sure. I was actually in China at the time when Coronavirus first became an issue. But even though it was pretty hard, I learnt a lot about myself, my family and my community during this time.

Personally, I learnt that I really need teachers to keep me on track and make sure I don’t become unmotivated. I also learnt that although I love hanging out with my friends, I do like to be alone and for that reason I didn’t find the whole quarantine period too hard.

In regards to my family, I learnt that we really need time apart because being so near each other all the time causes us to argue a lot because we have a lot more to argue about.

in regards to the community, I learnt that we can all come together when a needed and we are pretty quick to adapt to new learning ways or new social distancing rules. Of course not everybody followed the rules but I think that we still did pretty good.
