Recently, the string ensemble that I am in, Amati Strings, performed our first concert of the year. We were supposed to perform a few concerts earlier this year, but they all got cancelled due to COVID-19. The concert we played at is called Spring Serenade. We played William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini and Colours of the Wind from Disney’s Pocahontas. My personal favourite is Colours of the Wind, although I think we performed very well for both of them. I think the ensemble did a great job for our first performance of the year and I am excited to do more.
