After we arrive at the camp site and set up our tents we get on the bus then we head to the rock climbing walls, the rock climbing was fun and we even got to abseil down the wall which was very fun, during the rock climbing I used the capability “resilient when I went upside down during the abseil, it was not very fun but I was resilient and was able to bring myself back up and go down. In the future when I go rock climbing again I what to be more resilient when rock climbing even though the climbs where very hard.

Our first bushing cooking on camp was after the rock climbs, we were tired and hungry so we tried to set up our fire as quick as we could. When we got our fire to a good amount of heat after a long time we start to cook but we realized one of our group members forgot to bring the meat and other ingredients so we improvised using our bread ham and cheese we put our pan over the fire and made a ham and cheese toasty. This shows we used the capability of “creative” to eat dinner and not starve the night. I think our group could improve on making sure we have the food needed to cook and have a back up dinner just in case something else happens. On the other nights of bush cook we went perfectly we had a perfect fire and everybody else brought their food.

leave no trace
Leave no trace was one of our very important rules since it keeps nature and us safe even though we can’t protect the environment fully LNT helps us learn that we can protect the environment a little. We used LNT whenever we got a chance, after we ate dinner we would put the scraps in a nice place where it won’t cause as much harm. On the last day of camp everybody got in a line and picked up any rubbish we saw by the time we had finished the place looked cleaner and more greener than before. I think LNT helps us with all the capabilities on the wheel.
