Hi, I am Max Westell!

My family

Hi, my name is Max Westell . I attend All Saints College and I am in Durack house. I am an active (sporty), kind and thoughtful person who loves to spend time with friends and family and enjoy travelling all over the state of WA and Australia. I have 4 family members: my brother Jake who is 2 years younger than me, Mum and Dad. We live in Perth WA but my Dad’s family lives in Hobart. I am part Irish, Scottish and English.

Kind:

I like to make others happy and always try to make people smile when they are feeling down. I like to make my peers laugh and feel good about themselves.

Personality

I am a calm and quiet person. I am a naturally shy individual and a goal of mine is to become more confident when speaking in class and in front of large groups. I like to learn new things and strive to do the best I can at all times.

Active:

I LOVE sport and I have lots of medals for various achievements. I have 7 medals for my 7 years of playing soccer, I have a silver medal for coming 2nd in a cross country running event n Primary School and I also have a cricket trophy. I like to ride my bike with my Dad and brother. My favourite sport to play is soccer but I also really enjoy playing and watching cricket.

My interests

My main interest is soccer which is the sport I love the most. I also love to play video games and it is what I often do in my spare time. The video game I currently enjoy the most is ‘Spider-man’. I also enjoy building things with Lego and have many sets in my collection. I love to make people happy and be a good role model for others.

Some other information about me:

I like to be active and play outdoors with my friends. I also like to work on computers and learn about computer software and programming. I also enjoy playing Inter-House sport on Thursdays after school. I like to go to the beach with my family and swim in the ocean. I also enjoy travelling with my family and exploring new places. During a recent trip, we went sandboarding in Jurien Bay WA and I am very keen to try it again.

Community service and projects

I have been involved in several community services activities as well as some projects at school. Some of these activities include the All Saints Christmas Market, $20 Dollar Boss and Precious Plastics projects. The Christmas Market was a market where we would make items and sell them to the other students, parents and teachers in the school. With the money, you earned you would give it to a charity. $20 Dollar Boss is a similar project but you would keep the money and split it with the other people in your group or give the money to a charity. Precious plastics is where we take plastic, melt it and then make useful items. For example, we have made tiles, pens, flower pots, bowls and clipboards.
