$20 Boss – Reflection

OUR PRODUCT: Our product was beaded bracelets! We created a *huge* variety of different bracelets. Different colours, patterns, themes, beads ect. Our group had me, Shi ying and Zaina in it.

How did we use the design thinking process:

We used the design thinking process by researching for what type of jewelry our target audience would buy. We also tried many different types of bracelets along the way to see what worked best, and then made a prototype.

In our group, I used creativity by making many different types/styles of bracelets matching different aesthetics and not just doing basic styles and patterns. I was very organized in this process, by sticking to our plan each lesson and never forgetting our stuff to make products. I also used collaboration by being apart of the group and helping others.

My role: My role was too help making the bracelets & design our table layout. I was also given the role to log our progress and what we did each day.

My market experience: We did not sell all of our bracelets in the end but we did sell a good amount to our audience.

What went well? I think that creating our products went quite well as we had all of our employee’s + our CEO making the bracelets. Meaning we got things done pretty quickly and made a good amount of our product.

What could we have done better? I think we could have planned our table setup better and taken more time to plan it. As we just did a rough plan of our table. When it got to the day we didn’t have a table cloth and only 2 table decorations. I feel like if our table looked nicer than we could have sold more products.
