Dams
Dams are a source of hydropower, this is used to produce extra non-carbon energy.
The dams are damaging the life cycles of other animals by holding all of the water and then releasing the water too late to support animal life cycles. This also affects the evaporation period, preventing the water within the machine from evaporating.
This can be improved by reducing the number of dams in the environment, this would force us to then find another source for the power that we would have taken from hydropower possibly creating more carbon emissions.

Pollution
Pollution is where there is a harmful or poisonous chemical has been increased or introduced to the environment
Things that affect the water include chemicals, trash, bacteria, and parasites. These are all unhelpful to both the inhabitants of the water (being harmful), and to humans lowering the small amount of usable water we still have and also reducing the amount the water cycle can recycle.
There are many ways to decrease the water pollution in the world, for example, better recycling systems and safer chemical control, But these are big problems that are hard to stop.

Grey Water Recycling
Greywater is water that is not perfectly clean drinking water but not polluted toilet water. This is used for baths, showers, bathroom basins and laundries which don’t need perfect water.
Untreated greywater can contain high levels of sodium, carbonates, boron and phosphates, which may have long-term effects on plants or soils. This is useful for saving perfect water from overuse.
