My favourite thing that I learnt in this Connected Learning session was creating the a video. Our first thing we did, was to brainstorm an idea. We needed to start with an idea, and we eventually finally created an idea. Next, our group got a Sony Handycam and we filmed our scenes. The next Connected Learning session, we put together the scenes and then edited it on Adobe Premiere Rush. We cut our scenes to the desired length, and then we add sound effects and overlays.
What did we learn?
During this media project, we learnt to collaborate in our groups. We worked together to create a video. If we didn’t work together, then we wouldn’t be able to create together. We also learnt many valuable skills from this video, such as how to edit on Adobe Premiere Rush. Next time if I do this, I would try to make the editing better, while also making the camera shots more clearer and less background noise.
