About Me

My name is Samuel Frossos. I am 15 years old and I have interests in science, gaming, coding, and music. I try to make people smile a lot while making sure I am nice to people. I would consider myself shy around people I don’t have that strong of a connection with but confident around the people I know. I really enjoy playing video games as a pass time and hobby. I believe I am intelligent and a hard worker and have strengths in maths, science, and gaming. I would like people to see me as a funny person and nice to be around because I don’t want people to be uncomfortable around me. Outside of school I have been involved in many activities but as of right now I attend a gym every Wednesday. “If it aint broke, don’t fix it.” I like this saying because it makes sense. If something doesn’t need fixing, there is no need to try.

My Learning

My favourite subjects are maths and science. I like finding solutions using different strategies and applying my knowledge. I enjoy science as it is interesting to learn how different things in the world work. Next year I want to study maths, human biology, chemistry, and physics. If I ever struggle with something, I immediately seek help/advice. I always like things to make sense and have reasoning behind it e.g. In chemistry I struggles learning the electric charges of ions like ammonium because the methods that were applied previously didn’t exactly work. In the end I never really got a true reason or a method to apply to it. I was told “that’s just how it is.”- Senuka Jayasekara 2022. I like learning concepts, rules or ideas that can then be put into practice with a reason to why it works. Outside the classroom at school, I learn how to communicate with people and what activities I enjoy. Outside of school I learn how to play the bass guitar. 3 Important things I have learned in life so far would be: Work smarter not harder, life isn’t easy, and where there’s a will there’s a way. After year 12, I would like to take a University course on human biology/medicine to progress towards becoming a cardiologist. Other experiences I would like to have in the future would mainly just be work experience.

My Working Future

In the future, I would like to be a cardiologist. Based on what I found on https://myfuture.edu.au/ I found the tasks associated with this were as followed:

To follow this pathway, I must achieve a bachelor degree or higher qualification to reach it. Cardiology is under the medical industry.
