Towards the close of Term 2, all the Rock Bands of All Saints’ visited Mojo’s Bar in Fremantle for the annual gig.

Our band started in Year 7, and has gone through many names. This year, “Elysium” was made up of Callum Cleave (drums), Noah Jones (guitar), Joshua Chin (guitar), Sashana (vocals) and myself (keyboard and vocals). We were joined by a new member, Sam Frossos, who would be our bass guitarist!

We performed three songs:
-21 Guns by Green Day
-Mardy Bum by Arctic Monkeys
-Message in a Bottle by The Police

We all had fun that night jamming, and it was satisfying to see our teamwork paying off. In the future, we could work on our organisation, but no band’s perfect! Our next performance is in Term 4: All Saints’: Unplugged. The theme is 90’s songs, and so far we have learned “The Best” by Tina Turner. Let’s see where we go from here.
