Year 12 Colonnade

A big farewell the Year 12s who are leaving today (24/10/2019) to continue their lives out of school. After being at our school for so long, and being true role models in all that we do, we sent them of in a great big colonnade that ran through the school.

I would like to specially mention four Year 12s. First, our Durack house captains: Andrew Zhang and Elyse Belford-Thomas who bravely lead our house to victory in two inter-house competitions (swimming and choir). I hope they both have success in whatever they do.

Secondly, Liam Livingston was one of the mentors in Robotics Club, and helped me countless times when building our robot to coding a line-follow program. I hope he continues to visit Robotics Club and provide some more advice (our team, the Yangbingbongs, really need it).

Finally, Jasmine Berry contributed to the Leo Club time and time again. Being the president and the environment captain, she did a great job making sure our club flourished. All of the Leo Club members, and Mr Reynolds wishes her luck.

Good luck to all the Year 12s, and enjoy the rest of the year.
