On the 22nd of October, 2019, I had the pleasure of taking part in the ACC Super Series Soccer Carnival Match. Our team, led by Mr J, drove to Curtin University and played 3 teams that day. I was the goalkeeper

The first two teams were that of our match pool: South Coast Academy and Bunbury Senior School. We first played Bunbury, to which we lost 5-0. We even scored an unlucky own goal! 🙁  But it was a learning experience, and we tried not to do it again.

(We did, on that very same day)

In the next match, which we lost 7-0, we scored another own goal. Its either our team was doing it on purpose, or I’m a bad goalie. (Just kidding)

Despite the difficulties, we persevered and managed to win the final match against an unknown team:       1-0. We all were in good spirits and came back to school with high hopes (but low results). Oh well, who cares about that? We had lots of fun and learned teamwork within our group.

Hopefully we will be able to do this again next year.
