Hey there, my name is Seth Subasinghe. I am 14 years old and have completed a fourth of year 9.  Being a student at All Saint’s College has provided me with countless amazing opportunities, whether it be making new friends, taking on leadership roles, or just generally developing good values, every experience has been.  I love to problem solve as I am a logical thinker, my creative side needs a boost and that is where I would like to improve.  I like to take advantage of extra-curricular activities and have been selected for roles around the school such as Class Representative.

Out of school, I lead a puzzling life. I play competitive tennis for Willetton Tennis Club, a Patrol Leader at Canning Sea Scouts, and am a part of Canning’s sailing team. It is a puzzle managing these activities and keeping up the balance between my homework and tuition, but it has taught me some good time management skills.

In the last 2 years at All Saints College, I have learned some skills including leadership and effective communication skills. These skills have helped me evolve personally throughout the years I have been at the College. These aren’t skills that I was gifted with before coming to the college [EB5] but rather skills I have learned while on this long journey. Effective communication can be incorporated into team projects while leadership can be used throughout the classroom. I have learned my leadership skills from my Class Representative role as it allowed me to collaborate with teachers and lead different activities around the transition side of the College. I have also learned effective communication skills from my Class Representative role as we are advised to learn team skills throughout our course of being a Class Representative. I am excited for what is to come soon and continue to uphold the school’s values to the best of my ability.
