My $20 boss group included of Isla, Jessica, Emily and I. Our original product idea was to make jewellery, but late on in the planning stages we realised that we didn’t have enough time for the products to be shipped as we all came from previous groups which wasted a lot of time. After that we tried to come up with multiple ideas but none of them seemed to work. In the end our group didn’t have a product but learnt many new things instead.

In order to have a successful business we learnt that it is essential to be organised and have good time management skills. Throughout the $20 process our group members kept on putting off the things we had to do as we had lost interest in the project which was why we weren’t motivated anymore. For any future businesses we now know the importance of having good time management and organisation skills.

Throughout this project I did enjoy some aspects of it. It was quite interesting learning how to run a business and attending the workshops which taught us some very important skills even though my group’s business didn’t quite work out. I also enjoyed helping out other groups with their selling to get a feel of what it was exactly to sell products at a proper market.
