Yesterday in HASSĀ we were working on a project about water-saving and how lucky we are to have it. We watched a documentary speaking about 5 years old child named Chera who had to walk over 4 miles to get water that was not even clean! After that, we got to carry a bottle of 15 litres 100 meters. I really struggled with this and I realized how lucky I am to live a good life
Another activity we had to do was to put the water in the bucket only using our hands. We had 2 buckets and one was full while we had to fill the other one in only using our hands. To fill it up it took over 30 minutes with multiple people helping out. Imagine how long it would take for an innocent 5-year-old girl to do! I’m glad I did this activity and it helped me raise my awareness about the less fortunate.
Fun Fact! We Australians are the top 1% Wealthiest people of the world’s population
