What is Sustainable Development?

Sustainable development is a way we can progress in the future and that we can continue to do so without making further issues. It is when we can live in sync with animals and the earth.

What progress has been made towards solving the Goals?

Whist no larger solutions have been put in place individuals (such as my self and others in this elective) have started making smaller local impacts. COVID-19 has had huge set backs to their progress and they are currently very far behind.

What goals have relevance to All Saints’ College?

I believe that the global goals take place everywhere in the world. Some more then others but still everywhere. So I believe the college and the local community are both effected and related to all the goals.

Why I chose to enrol in this elective?

I chose to enrol enrol in this elective because I believe world is dying, and the time to act is now. I have no doubt that humans will survive whatever is thrown at us, but I am not worried about humans surviving, it is the earth that I fear for. It gave us the freedom of life, but we are taking more then we deserve.
