About Me

Hi, I’m Violet, I was born in Perth. When I was three, my sister, my dad, my mum, and I moved to Sydney and lived there for nine years. My mum and I moved back to Perth at the beginning of last year to be around family.

Generally, I have been described as a very creative person, I express my creativity most when I am doing things that I love, such as, arts, cooking, and acting. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, some of my specialties are homemade pasta and chocolate chip cookies. I like to watch cooking shows, such as MasterChef, and even went to the MasterChef kitchen a couple of years ago. My interest involving arts is drawing, which I mostly do as a pastime at home. Painting, I have participated in close to a year of painting and other art lessons in school. I am currently taking drama lessons in school which I am really enjoying, In the future, I hope I can do more involved in acting.

The main sport that I play is basketball, I have been playing it for almost 7 years. Currently, I am playing for Perry Lakes Hawks, last year I was playing for Cockburn Cougars and in the two years before that, I played for The Norths Bears. In the four seasons of competitive basketball that I have played, I have gained 3 championships, 2 in Sydney, for the Norths Bears, and the most recent one in Perth for Cockburn Cougars. This season my team made it to the semi-finals but sadly, we lost. More recently, I was accepted into the Future Development Program which is one of the state developments squads for Western Australia.

Regarding the future, I would love to study forensic investigations and criminology so that I can work for the Australian Federal Police. In the near future, I would like to make a state basketball team and represent Western Australia at nationals.
