‘I have not failed I have just found 10,000 ways which do not work’
a quote from Thomas Edison while he was inventing the light bulb. I can relate. I found 10,000 ways to write an ePortfolio. I rewrite my work improving it and making it better and making it reflect myself better.
Hello, my name is William, I am a year 8 student which goes to All saints’ collage and I figured this is the best way to ‘start’ my ePortfolio.
I am highly creative, and I love making models and painting. Through all of this building and creating I have learned problem solving, in which, when I get stuck I try repeatedly until it works or until I finally get told to stop ‘You’ve made to much of a mess’ – quoted mum. I love a laugh every so often and like being around people.
I like machines, I have been fascinated by them since I learnt to read. I love figuring out how they work and trying to guess how they work by inferring what they do and how. I love making models as well, and so far, I have created a few model planes, I have made a full body suite of cardboard armour based off halo and I am creating a 2meter wingspan glider.
One of some of my hobbies is playing the flute which is a woodwind musical instrument. I have played it for about 3 years and I really enjoy it. I have increased my skills through the flute and wish to play it for ATAR.
