year 8 life skills – learning neuroplasticity

 Neuroplasticity:

Neuroplasticity is thinking open-mindedly, a lot of people are closed-minded. Closed-minded people have a negative perspective and believe they can’t do something before even trying. People who have neuroplasticity are open to trying something even if they think they can’t do it or if they try and fail get back up and go again. You can do anything you believe is possible if you think no I can’t do this chances are you won’t but if you think you can there is a higher chance you will.

Training your brain:

Training your brain can be difficult at first but after some time of working your brain will be a lot better off for it. Your brain can think faster if it had a little bit of training like anything the more you do it the better you get. So if you sit down and do some exercises for your brain there are many perks including, a better memory or faster thinking, better reflexes, or whatever you decide to train.

Resilience / grit:

It is good to have resilience and grit these are 2 things that are very important to achieve things. If you have neither of these things you will be unable to have a good workflow as it will be easier for you to give up on what you’re doing. It is simply choosing something to do and then sticking with it to the end even if you don’t feel like it. This will increase your grit to follow through with what you are doing.

Happiness:

it is also important to be happy because this will help you with all of these things and make things a lot easier and a good mental state is good for the wellness of you
