$20 Boss Reflection

In term 3, Charlie McKell and I were in a group with 3 other people. Those people pulled out of $20 Boss project. Charlie and I decided that our ideas were to hard for just two people. At the end of the term we decided to stay in $20 Boss.

In term 4, Charlie and I joined a new group called Playful Pup. Playful Pup consisted of Josh Lane, Tristan Clement and Matthew Gerovich. Playful Pup was a dog walking business. The boys were happy to let us join due to the bigger area of walking.

Here were our 5 areas that we walk our dogs. These were the suburbs that we were available to walk. We charged $8 every half hour and $14 every hour. We charged per minute and not distance walked. We walked around 15 dogs over the couple weeks. The distance walked was around the house so as soon as the dog left the house we started the timer.

Most of the work I did was of the website. This took about 2-3 lessons due to it having many pages and information. Overall I did a very good job with the website due to it containing all the details about our group and our locations where we can walk our dog. I did lots of work even though I was only in the group for around 5-6 weeks.

Our group worked very well together and we didn’t have any problems within our group. We barely wasted any time and all our work was done well. Overall our group made many things such as a website, cards and posters. We made over $150 dollars and I learned many things in this positive experience. I had lots of fun working with this group and I would do it again.
