Assessment 1 Models and Me (Health)

My Top 3 Values: Explained

Loyalty:

I think loyalty is an important value because you need to be loyal to everyone. Being loyal is important because you have people with you who would trust you because you would be a loyal person. People would stay with you because you are loyal and help them at any given time. Loyalty is a great value to have because it corresponds with so many different things.

Kindness:

Kindness is a great value to have because it benefits both people. Kindness can make you feel better and the person receiving the kindness feels good. You could never know the other person could be having a bad day then you come along and cheer them up. It just generally makes people feel good.

Friends:

Friends are important because they will always be there for you and help you with everything and support you no matter what. They help you remember to be nice to everyone because you don’t know who you will become friends with. They also help you to brace the differences and unique skills.

A Healthy Role Model: David Attenborough

He clearly shows his care for nature and the environment. Educate people about the wonders of our world. He truly cares for our planet and wants everyone else to care for it as well.

He is older but he is very fit for his age in his many documentaries you can see him travelling our planet and that must consist of lots of walking. Like from seeing glaciers to observing elephants.

He strongly promotes taking care of our planet because we only have one. He tries to make us aware of what we’ve done to our planet so we can stop and go back to taking care of it.

He should be a role model for everyone because of how much he cares and people could actually stop harmful things from damaging our planet.

He demonstrates these values by giving us useful and wise information about the planet we live on and how we must protect it and look after it for years to come.

Unhealthy Role Model: Justin Beiber

Justin Bieber Says He Was “Misunderstood and Angry at God” During 2014 DUI Arrest | Vanity Fair

Justin Bieber:

He doesn’t respect people and has been involved in criminal activity. This could put a bad example on younger people, as many of Justin’s fans are in the younger audience.  He also left his fans waiting for 2 hours because he was playing a video game. People have paid to come to see him and yet he ignores them.

Because of his actions, he promotes violence to younger audiences. He also promotes a lack of respect leaving a bad impact on his audience. His actions should not be followed. He also keeps dying his hair. This can be the cause of uncertainty and trying to please others.

Because of his fame, he thinks he can get away with everything including illegal activity such as:

Attacking photographers, spray painting, abandoning a pet and drunk driving. People should not do these things because it is wrong. But a young kid can go “I saw my role model do it so it must be okay!”

No young people shouldn’t look up to him, because of his uncertain behaviour he is not the type of influence young people should have.

No, because anyone can say anything and because of that rumours spiral and people believe it but then it turns out not to be true.
