We all know how good asc camps are and there are so many challenges when learning new things. In this year’s amazing camp for the years 9’s. The skill I developed at this year’s camp was teamwork which is a big skill to know and learn. It helped a lot in activities like for example in cooking and team building. There were many different challenges we faced in these activities throughout camp for the week but by helping each other we managed to get through it. Like when we were cooking, we had to come together as a team and had to make our food to eat. We had disagreements and challenges but with effective communication and a clear discussion, we solved the problem. There will be a lot of challenges faced in everyday life and it is always better to get through them with someone and not alone and in camp, I felt like if anything went wrong we would all be able to get through it like for example when we had to pack the food for the week we had to come up with a plan on how we were going to do to so we had everything we needed and that is what we did as a group.

The delicious meals that we prepared every night to the taste and texture of the food were amazing and even better when you have other people with you laughing and talking. That shows that when coming together you can achieve anything as long as you have people by your side.
