2019 Christmas Market

For the past 4 years now, All Saints’ College has hosted an annual Christmas Market. This year was the year that I was going to be making the products. Of course it was a tonne of fun, and it taught me a lot about marketing and advertising. The planning was the part that took a lot of time. We had to choose our product which we changed because another group was also doing the same product. In the end, we finalised our decision to wire decorations. Then we bought the product which was a problem for us as the wire we bought had run out of stock.

Then we had to make our products. That was tough. The wire wasn’t easy to bend and when we bent it the wrong way, it left a small dent in the wire. Although this was not an easy feat, we did make 26 products altogether, and they look beautiful! We had to get decorations for our stall too, and I brought in a lot of things to make our stall stand out.

Then the actual market came. We made a decent amount of profit, and we ended up selling out. The float was paid back and so was our investment money. The overall amount of profit our group made was $55.50. The market was very successful and we had a brilliant time!
