During Semester 1 2022, I have spent the last 2 terms learning and designing my Amulet for my class of Visual arts Sculpting and Casting.
I believe I met my targets throughout the project as I completed my amulet to the design I wanted it to be and I am happy with how it looks and how it has turned out in the end.
At first my design was influenced by the evil eye and I was originally going to make an eye, but during the process of making an eye I found i had mixed a cooper looking colour with blue and I began to make my amulet into an oxidising copper amulet which in total made it look nice.
during the process of carving my soap it snapped in 2 slowing down my process by me having to make another 1. though this slowed me down it rlly helped me as I was able to make my amulet flatter quicker.
My final design turned out really well i think and I am really happy with it.
