Dear Sir or Madam

I would like to address the issue of safety for women. Feeling safe without a fear of violence is everyone’s right, which is why I believe that reducing violence is everyone’s responsibility. What I mean by everyone being responsible for it is everyone taking their own actions. This may be adults teaching children to not be violent from a young age or spreading awareness. Fifty-three percent of women in Australia have been sexually harassed throughout their lives, this may be the reason those young girls and women do not feel safe walking alone, leaving home and getting into relationships. As a nation I believe we should come together to try bringing the percentage of 53% down. Here is how we can do this. We can start different women only counselling/clubs, to let women feel safe for a change and let them know that there are other ladies feeling the same as them. We can start fundraisers to help stand up against this problem, this is also including protesting. If it helps, the government can donate as well. To conclude, I believe this is a very big problem as
