About Me

Hi, my name is Emily, I am 14 years old and I am in year 9. I have been attending All Saints’ College since Kindy.

Some interesting things about me are that both my parents are fully deaf, and I have been communicating with them using Auslan (Australian Sign Language) since I was 2 months old. I have a younger sister named Molly who is in year 6, she also attends all saints. I also have a dog named Charger who is 9 years old now and a cat named Lucky who is 2. They both have very unique names. When you go back, my family is mainly an Australian background.

The values I like to live by are to be resilient, use leadership and to be collaborative. The way I incorporate and use these in my life is by being resilient and try to not let anything bother me and to stay strong and to be happy majority of the time. I also use leadership to make sure in some situations when I can lead a group to help us to have fun and get the work done. To use collaboration values, I always love working in groups and make sure I make a positive difference in the group and have fun. I always make sure everyone is included and no one is left out.

I have attended All Saints all of my life. I have been playing basketball at the All Saints’ College Basketball Club since year 2 and I also play at a Vic Park club. I have been dancing since the age of 2. I started dancing at a place called Starstruck and I now focus on Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary. I also do a lot of singing, I used to be in the choir earlier this year, but the timing ended up being a little inconvenient. But I will hopefully be doing singing and choir next year. I always love contributing to the College and doing school events. My hopes for the futures are to have a good future with an amazing family and a good job.
