He is clever, resilient, creative, hard working and generous.

When he arrived in Australia as a refugee he faced many challenges but built a lot of resilience while struggling with poverty. As a young boy, he came up with clever ways of making money (e.g. selling fish).

Some of his natural talents are comedy, writing and his creativity in painting and art. He is an award winning children’s book author, writing about struggles as a kid to help children feel less alone (so they can relate).

Anh is well presented and well dressed, cheery and appears on various TV shows which require him to be presentable. Having survived a five day long refugee boat trip across the seas in a leaky fishing boat that was attacked by pirates, he and his family nearly didn’t survive. Therefore, Anh has a good appreciation for living a good healthy life.

Anh Do has many famous quotes. One of them being ‘There are only 2 times. Now and too late’. Meaning you have live your life to the best now before it’s too late. It is inspiring because it shows that he cares about life and wants people to make the most out of it like he does and appreciates it. He reminds us that the worst that can happen is that you will fail but at least you have given it a ‘Red hot go’.
