Water Cycle (Project Utopia)

In science we have been looking at the water cycle. We also looked at what humans impact on the water cycle and ways to recycle water. Green spaces are one way we can keep the water cycle going and giving us clean water. Green spaces are very good because they can have the inhabitants of native plants, birds, animals or insects. They also help people because they decrease the carbon emission in the air making it safer for humans. Also green spaces help the water cycle.

Green spaces help the water cycle by reducing storm water runoff which stops pollution getting into our environment. In cities with connected sewer systems high storm water flows also can send dirty sewage into our waters. By keeping rainfall from small storms, green infrastructure reduces storm water release. Lower release volumes translate into reduced connected sewer overflows and lower pollution loads.

Green spaces are very good for mentally disabled people because it can distract them from their problems
