Christmas Market Project

The Process

The beginning of the project started with us picking groups choosing anybody we wanted. After picking our groups we brainstormed all the ideas we could do. Our first idea was to make mousepads but we decided against it as it wasn’t cost efficient so we decided to do pot plants. We needed to make the plants sustainable so we decided to use old tins we recycled for our pots, and we painted them to make them look nicer. We drilled holes in the bottom to drain out water and to reduce mould. We decided to have the plants succulents because they needed little amounts of water and were easy to keep alive, we sourced the plants from Jack Ecclestone’s Mum’s garden and got a wide variety of plants to make our products with.

The Stall

On the day of the Christmas Market We set up our stall with a table cloth and some stands displaying our prices. We had all of our plants on our table and had some plants underneath the stand incase we were running low.

The Sales Figures

We made a excel spreadsheet with all of the statistics of our spellings on the day of the market

Capabilities Wheel

the capabilities we used we, Ethical, Creative and Problem solving. We used ethical because we used recycled and sustainable items to make our products. We used Creative as our idea was creative using recycled tins and pre-grown plants to make them, and we used problem solving because we had to change our idea because it needed to be sustainable.

Logo

In class our group made lots of logos and we didn’t know what one to pick. In the end we decided tat we would use one of the logos we got from a logo generator.
