this year we did a variety of things for innovate-ed but I will be just focusing on the stop the spread topic
for stop the spread we had to come up with an idea of how to warm people about covid 19 but first, you had to come up with which age group you were going to present to so my group was me, Rhys, Catherine, and Eleanor and we decided to present to kids who are really young. the reason why we choose really young kids is that it is proven that humans learn the most at 3 years of age so once that was we had to come up with what to do we had all kinds of idea
but in the end, we went with a book and we named it Borris the bear. as each session came we used a different part of the design thinking process. we had about 10 weeks to do the whole project before e would have a day where for the first 2 periods our grandparents came in. so we had to work really hard and all the hard work paid off when the grandparents came a saw the book we made.
Reflection
I think that we did quite well but there were parts where we were wasting time but I think I could improve on not wasting as much time as I did but other than that I think I did ok with this project and using the design thinking process I did enjoy this topic of innovate ed.
