At the beginning of the unit, what online platforms did you use?

I used the e safety.gov website which we got shown a video that was about e-safety, the video showed a kid that was bullied on social media and people were being racist.

What key things did you learn in this Health unit?

I learnt that you should always be cautious of your surroundings and how you should be careful about what you say to someone on social media and to other people’s faces.

• How did what you learn to affect your online behaviour?

I have not really done anything on social media but, if I had I would say I would have been more cautious online, I would have been more careful in the way I talk to people and how I won’t use slang language.

• Do you plan to change your online behaviour in the future?

Yes, I want to talk nicer and I want to be a better person online, I want to be able to not let people down online and read carefully at their post and I want to comment in the right way.

Comments

People commented on my post, some of those people commented short and not in detail, some people said that they did not get what trash talking means, they did not agree respectfully or disagree respectfully. Only one person agreed respectfully and gave a reason, that comment changed my point of view as the booklet did and the comment gave me an idea for the future.
