Passion Projects – L+I

The leadership and innovation course helped us to combine our interests and passions and help to make them come to life. My passion project for this semester was designed to help athletes and people alike to be able to create quick, easy and nutritious snacks to enjoy on the go. I wanted to do my project that could help people with little time and very active lifestyles, since I knew many people who really needed better food choices so they had more energy for longer periods of time.

Ideating and Testing Product Ideas

We started by going around in pairs having two minutes to discuss our interests and the possible projects we could make either in groups or by ourselves. I had to write down as many ideas as possible and cut down the ones that i didn’t have enough time to complete or had too many skills I had to learn, instead of just improving one or two. Once I had my idea I made a vision board and plans with possible treats with high nutrition factors but still looked and tasted really nice. After finding what recipes I though were really good, I spent time baking up different recipes and giving them to neighbours, friends and family to give feedback on and recommend recipes of their own.

This passion project has also helped me in the start up and creation of my business that I’ve started developing, where I’ve converted my passion project products into things i can sell to a wider variety of people.
