For the last half of term 3 our innovation class decided to create businesses and my plan was to extend my passion project and create a healthy treats business.
Recipes and Expense Tracking
In my designing phase, I started by coming up with three flavours and costing all the ingredients over a batch to flavour system. From there I figured out how much each recipe was going to cost me for 1 batch, how many batches I could make with each purchase and how much it would cost overall.
Logos and Poster Designing
From there I started coming up with logo and business name ideas, with the help of illustrator and logo creating websites like squarespace. I came up with three different logos and got feedback from our class, on colour schemes, symbols and overall structure. This gave me the opportunity to see how different people respond to my logos and see what changes I could make, in order to make the best groups.
After finalizing a logo ( 2nd option ), I started designing posters for the upcoming market showcase on Friday the 2nd of September. I used canva and the colour scheme from my logo to design a poster that could be displayed on my stall. I made a base plan and after getting feedback from my class ( about the info needed on the poster and clarity of the images ) I came up with my final design.
